Ruston Kelly is an American singer-songwriter born in South Carolina whose music draws on country, folk and emo-tinged alternative rock. His confessional writing came to wider attention through the albums Dying Star, Shape & Destroy and The Weakness, including songs such as “Mockingbird,” “Brave” and “The Weakness.” The Shape & Destroy Tour took Kelly through clubs and theatres in 2021. He followed it with The Weakness Tour in 2023, which included a hometown performance at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
