About Sakanaction
Sakanaction is a Japanese rock band formed in Sapporo in 2005 and led by vocalist and songwriter Ichiro Yamaguchi. Their music draws on electronic rock, new wave and pop, and they are known for songs including “Aruku Around,” “Shin Takarajima” and “Wasurerarenaino,” as well as the albums kikUUiki and 834.194.
The band presented its first Nippon Budokan concert in 2010 under the SAKANAQUARIUM banner, a name used for successive tours and concert films. SAKANAQUARIUM 2011 DocumentaLy records the following year’s performance at Makuhari Messe.
