SALEM in New Braunfels

SALEM is an American electronic group formed in Traverse City, Michigan, by John Holland, Heather Marlatt and Jack Donoghue. Their distorted synthesizers, slowed hip-hop rhythms and shoegaze textures helped establish the sound associated with witch house. The group is best known for the album King Night and its title track, while Fires in Heaven marked their return to full-length recording. An early performance at The FADER Fort became a much-discussed part of SALEM’s live history. European festival appearances followed, including Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Field Day in London.
