About Sandy & Junior
Sandy & Junior are a Brazilian pop duo formed in Campinas in 1990 by siblings Sandy Leah and Junior Lima. They began as child performers with country-pop material, first attracting attention through “Maria Chiquinha,” and later moved toward mainstream pop and pop rock on records including As Quatro Estações and Sandy & Junior.
The Acústico MTV farewell tour ended the duo’s original run in 2007, closing with a concert at Credicard Hall in São Paulo. They reunited for the Nossa História tour in 2019, performing in stadiums and arenas including Allianz Parque.
The reunion also took their live show outside Brazil for concerts in Lisbon and New York, where the tour concluded.
