Sascha Grammel in Dortmund

Sascha Grammel is a German ventriloquist, puppeteer and comedian, born in Berlin in 1974. He is known for combining stand-up with comic conversations between himself and a cast of puppet characters, a format also seen in televised versions of his stage programs. He toured the stage show Hetz mich nicht! before following it with Keine Anhung! and Ich find's lustig. Fast fertig! and Wünsch dir was! continued the sequence through large theatres and arenas in German-speaking Europe. Sascha Grammel performs as the host and straight man while voicing each puppet in extended dialogues and sketches. His recurring characters include Frederic Freiherr von Furchensumpf, Josie and Professor Dr. Peter Hacke.
