About Scandal
Scandal is a Japanese four-piece rock band formed in Osaka in 2006 by Haruna Ono, Mami Sasazaki, Tomomi Ogawa and Rina Suzuki. Their pop-rock and pop-punk catalogue includes “Shōjo S,” “Shunkan Sentimental” and the albums Best Scandal and Hello World; “Shunkan Sentimental” was used as an ending theme for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
Scandal played Nippon Budokan in 2012 and followed it with the Wonderful Tonight concert at Osaka-jō Hall in 2013. Two years later, the Hello World world tour took the band through Japan and overseas, and the group marked its tenth anniversary in 2016 with a concert at Izumiotsu Phoenix.
Scandal perform as a four-member band: Haruna Ono sings and plays rhythm guitar, Mami Sasazaki plays lead guitar, Tomomi Ogawa handles bass and vocals, and Rina Suzuki plays drums and sings.
Outside Japan, Scandal have performed in London and Berlin; in the United States, the band has also performed in Anaheim.
