Seasick Steve in New York

Seasick Steve is an American blues singer-songwriter and guitarist whose country-blues sound centers on slide guitar and homemade instruments. He reached a broad British audience through Jools Holland's Annual Hootenanny, while albums such as Dog House Music, I Started Out with Nothin and I Still Got Most of It Left and You Can't Teach an Old Dog New Tricks established songs including “Dog House Boogie” and “Walkin Man.” Seasick Steve performed at Glastonbury Festival in 2007, then appeared at the Reading and Leeds Festivals. His later headline dates included the Royal Albert Hall in London. His concerts have centered on vocals and a rotating set of unconventional guitars, including the Three-String Trance Wonder and a one-string diddley bow. Drummer Dan Magnusson was his long-running stage partner in this setup.
