Shawn Mullins in Menlo Park

Shawn Mullins is an American singer-songwriter born in Atlanta whose music draws on folk, rock and country. He is best known for the spoken-sung hit “Lullaby” and the album Soul’s Core; “Shimmer” and “Beautiful Wreck” are also central songs in his catalogue. Early in his career, Mullins played Atlanta songwriter rooms including Eddie’s Attic. He later toured and recorded in The Thorns, a trio formed with Matthew Sweet and Pete Droge. His concert album Live at the Variety Playhouse documents a hometown performance in a larger theatre setting.
