About Shoko Nakagawa
Shoko Nakagawa is a Japanese singer, actress and television personality, born in Tokyo in 1985. Also known by the nickname Shokotan, she made her recording debut with “Brilliant Dream” and is closely associated with anime music, particularly “Sorairo Days” from Gurren Lagann and “Ray of Light” from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
In 2009, she staged Chō Donyoku Matsuri at Nippon Budokan, bringing her pop and rock catalogue to one of Japan’s best-known concert halls. Shoko Nakagawa Asia Tour 2012 later extended her live work beyond Japan through performances in Hong Kong and Taipei.
