Silverada is an American country and roots-rock band formed in Austin, Texas, in 2007 under the name Mike and the Moonpies. Led by singer-songwriter Mike Harmeier, the group adopted its current name in 2024. Its catalog includes the albums Steak Night at the Prairie Rose, Cheap Silver and Solid Country Gold, One to Grow On and Silverada. A weekly Thursday residency at the Hole in the Wall helped the group develop its live repertoire through long honky-tonk sets before it began touring clubs and festivals across the United States. Its stage work under the former name was also documented by concert recordings made at WinStar World Casino and Resort and the Devil’s Backbone Tavern.
John R. Miller is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from West Virginia’s eastern panhandle. He writes alt-country and Americana shaped by bluegrass and old-time music, and his solo catalogue includes the albums Depreciated and Heat Comes Down, as well as songs such as “Shenandoah Shakedown” and “Coming Down.” He spent earlier years performing with the West Virginia string band The Fox Hunt and fronting the country-rock group Prison Book Club. His later concerts under his own name have centered on his songwriting and guitar work, including an appearance on Mountain Stage.
