Skating Polly is an American punk and alternative-rock band formed in Oklahoma City in 2009 by stepsisters Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse. Their catalog includes the albums The Big Fit, The Make It All Show and Chaos County Line, as well as songs such as “Hail Mary” and “They’re Cheap (I’m Free).” Skating Polly opened for Babes in Toyland on the band’s reunion tour and have also toured with Kate Nash and Deerhoof. Their concerts use a trio lineup: Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse alternate between guitar and bass, while Kurtis Mayo plays drums.
