Slow Pulp is an American indie rock band formed in Madison, Wisconsin, and based in Chicago. Singer and guitarist Emily Massey joined childhood friends Alex Leeds, Teddy Mathews and Henry Stoehr, and the group developed a hazy sound shaped by dream pop, shoegaze and lo-fi rock. Its catalog includes the albums Moveys and Yard, as well as the songs “Idaho,” “Falling Apart,” “Cramps” and “Slugs.” Slow Pulp opened for Alvvays on a North American tour in 2022. The band followed with the 2023 Yard Tour, playing headline dates at clubs and theatres across North America.
Her New Knife is an American shoegaze band formed in Philadelphia in 2020 after its four members met at Florida State University and relocated to the city. Vocalist-guitarist Edgar Atencio, guitarist Ben Kachler, bassist Carolina Schooley and drummer Elijah Ford play music also classified as noise rock and indie rock. Their releases include the EPs Destroza, Lead Dreams/Flayed So Light and Chrome Is Lullaby, as well as Nightcore+++. In 2024, Her New Knife supported Julie on the My Anti-Aircraft Friend tour. The band followed that run by touring with Water from Your Eyes in 2025.
