Soil is an American alternative-metal and hard-rock band formed in Chicago in 1997. The group became known through the album Scars and songs including “Halo” and “Unreal,” followed by records such as Redefine. Soil played Ozzfest in 2001 during the touring cycle for Scars. A performance on the band’s 2011 UK tour was later issued as the concert release Re-LIVE-ing the Scars, documenting Ryan McCombs back at the microphone in London.
Adema is an American nu-metal and alternative-rock band formed in Bakersfield, California, in 2000. Their self-titled debut album introduced their best-known songs, “Giving In” and “The Way You Like It”; later records include Unstable and Planets. Adema joined Linkin Park and Cypress Hill on Projekt Revolution in 2002, then played Ozzfest that summer. In 2017, the original lineup reunited for a club performance at the Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood.
