St. Vincent is the stage name of American singer, songwriter and guitarist Annie Clark, who was born in Tulsa in 1982 and grew up near Dallas. She plays art rock and art pop shaped by angular guitar parts and electronic textures. She is known for the albums Strange Mercy, St. Vincent and Masseduction, and for songs including “Digital Witness,” “New York” and “Los Ageless.” The Digital Witness Tour took the self-titled album through theatres and festivals during 2014 and 2015. The initial 2017 dates of the Fear the Future Tour used a choreographed solo format, before the following year’s shows expanded to a full band. She returned to the band format for the Daddy’s Home Tour in 2021 and later mounted the All Born Screaming Tour. Outside the United States, St. Vincent has performed at Glastonbury in England and at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound.
