Sten & Stanley in Norrköping

Sten & Stanley are a Swedish dansband formed in Karlskoga in 1962, led by singer Sten Nilsson. The group is known especially for the songs “Jag vill vara din, Margareta” and “Dra dit pepparn växer,” part of a repertoire built around melodic dance music and sentimental pop. Sten & Stanley began performing in folk parks and dance halls during the 1960s and sustained that work across the following decades. Their concerts retain the traditional dansband format, with a full group playing music intended for partner dancing, and most of their live work takes place in Sweden.
