Stephan Bauer is a German cabaret artist and comedian, born in Stade in 1968 and raised in Dußlingen. He is known for comedy about consumer society and preoccupations with youth and fitness, as well as appearances on Sieben Tage, sieben Köpfe, Ottis Schlachthof, Quatsch Comedy Club and Kabarett aus Franken. In 1992, Stephan Bauer performed his first solo cabaret program. His stage shows use little or no scenery, sometimes placing only a chair onstage. In 2025, he received the honorary award of the Baden-Württemberg Kleinkunstpreis.
