Stephen Lynch in Woodstock

Stephen Lynch is an American comedian, singer-songwriter and actor, born in Pennsylvania in 1971. He is known for acoustic comedy songs that pair straightforward melodies with dark or absurd punchlines, including “Special,” “Craig” and “D&D,” and for albums such as A Little Bit Special and Superhero. He also played Robbie Hart in the Broadway musical The Wedding Singer. Live at the El Rey documented his guitar-led comedy show at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. He followed it with the live album The Craig Machine, recorded at New York’s Symphony Space, where spoken stand-up linked songs drawn from his early releases.
