The Blow Monkeys are a British pop-rock band formed in London in 1981 and led by singer and guitarist Dr Robert. Their polished new-wave and soul-pop sound is best known through “Digging Your Scene,” “It Doesn’t Have to Be This Way” and the album Animal Magic. The group’s original run ended in 1990, and the musicians reunited in 2007. Since re-forming, The Blow Monkeys have played full-band concerts in clubs, theatres and festivals around the United Kingdom.
