About The Four Owls
The Four Owls are a British hip-hop group formed in 2011 by Fliptrix, Verb T, BVA and Leaf Dog, performing under the owl aliases Big Owl, Bird T, Rusty Take-Off and Deformed Wing. Their debut album, Nature’s Greatest Mystery, established the group’s sample-based underground rap sound; later releases include Natural Order and Nocturnal Instinct. DJ Premier produced their track “Think Twice.”
The Four Owls appeared at London’s Electric Ballroom for the High Focus Records 10th Birthday celebration, which brought much of the label’s roster together. The quartet also performed at Boomtown Fair and presented its four-MC live set at the Czech hip-hop festival Hip Hop Kemp.
