About The King Khan & BBQ Show
The King Khan & BBQ Show is a Canadian garage-rock duo formed in Montreal in 2002 by King Khan and Mark Sultan, former bandmates in the Spaceshits. Their raw rock and roll draws on garage punk, doo-wop and rhythm and blues; key records include What’s for Dinner? and Invisible Girl, while “Love You So” became their best-known song.
After a brief split in 2010, the pair reunited in 2011 and resumed touring clubs. A later performance in Nashville was documented on Live at Third Man Records. Their two-person setup has both musicians singing and playing guitar, while Mark Sultan also plays percussion with his feet.
