About The KVB
The KVB are a British darkwave and post-punk duo begun by Nicholas Wood in 2010, with Kat Day joining soon afterward. Their music pairs drum machines and synthesizers with heavily treated guitar and detached vocals. Albums including Always Then, Of Desire, Only Now Forever and Unity established their mix of cold wave, shoegaze and electronic rock.
The KVB have toured Europe and North America as a duo. Nicholas Wood sings and plays guitar, while Kat Day handles synthesizers and the visual component of the performance. Their festival appearances have included Grauzone in The Hague and Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig.
