The Puppini Sisters in Paris

The Puppini Sisters are a British close-harmony vocal trio formed in London in 2004 by Marcella Puppini. Their swing arrangements recast standards and pop songs, including “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “Mr. Sandman,” “I Will Survive” and “Wuthering Heights.” The group introduced this approach on the albums Betcha Bottom Dollar and The Rise and Fall of Ruby Woo. The trio have performed at Glastonbury Festival and toured theatres and jazz clubs in Britain and abroad. Their concert history includes appearances at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and seasonal shows built around the repertoire of Christmas with The Puppini Sisters at Union Chapel.
