Toadies are an American alternative rock band formed in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1989. Their best-known release is the 1994 album Rubberneck, which includes “Possum Kingdom,” “Tyler,” “Away” and “Backslider.” In 2008, Toadies launched the band-curated Dia de los Toadies festival, whose lineups centered on Texas musicians. In 2014, they performed Rubberneck in full on the Rubberneck 20th Anniversary Tour.
Local H is an American alternative rock band formed in Zion, Illinois, in 1990. Built around singer-guitarist Scott Lucas, the band became known for “Bound for the Floor” and the album As Good as Dead, followed by records including Pack Up the Cats and Here Comes the Zoo. In 2016, Local H marked the twentieth anniversary of As Good as Dead by performing the album in full on tour. The band returned to that format in 2022 for the twentieth anniversary of Here Comes the Zoo, placing complete-album performances inside its long-running schedule of rock-club and theatre shows. Local H performs as a two-piece: Scott Lucas sings and uses a modified guitar setup that also covers bass frequencies, while Ryan Harding plays drums.
