About The Who
The Who are a British rock band formed in London in 1964. Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle and Keith Moon made up the classic lineup, known for songs including “My Generation,” “Baba O’Riley” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” as well as the rock operas Tommy and Quadrophenia.
The Who performed at Woodstock in 1969 and recorded the concert album Live at Leeds the following year. Their 1989 reunion tour used an expanded ensemble with horns and backing singers, while the 2019 Moving On! Tour paired the band with local orchestras.
The Who played most extensively in the United Kingdom and the United States, and their arena tours also reached Canada.
