Tiamat is a Swedish metal band formed in Stockholm in 1987, initially under the name Treblinka. Led by singer, guitarist and principal songwriter Johan Edlund, the group moved beyond its early death-doom sound on albums including Clouds, Wildhoney and A Deeper Kind of Slumber. “The Sleeping Beauty,” “Whatever That Hurts” and “Gaia” are among its best-known songs. A 2005 concert at the Krzemionki television studio in Kraków was filmed for the live release The Church of Tiamat. At Roadburn Festival in Tilburg in 2015, the band performed Wildhoney in full.
