Tony Orlando is an American pop singer, born in New York City in 1944, who became best known as the lead voice of Tony Orlando and Dawn. The group recorded the hits “Candida,” “Knock Three Times” and “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree,” while his earlier solo recordings included “Bless You.”

In 1993, he opened the Tony Orlando Yellow Ribbon Music Theatre in Branson and performed there for several seasons. His farewell concerts later included South Point Casino in Las Vegas, followed by his final concert at Mohegan Sun Arena in 2024.
