About Toshinobu Kubota
Toshinobu Kubota is a Japanese singer, songwriter and producer whose music draws on R&B, soul, funk and pop. Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1962, he made his recording debut with the 1986 album Shake It Paradise. His best-known songs include “Missing” and “La La La Love Song,” the theme to the television drama Long Vacation.
Concert Tour ’96 Oyeees! was documented on home video, preserving Toshinobu Kubota’s full-band concert format. The 2012 Party Ain’t A Party! tour marked his 25th anniversary as a recording artist, followed later in the decade by a nationwide run through concert halls for Concert Tour 2019–2020 Beautiful People.
