Trio Parada Dura in Belo Horizonte

Trio Parada Dura is a Brazilian sertanejo group formed in Minas Gerais. The lineup of Mangabinha, Creone and Barrerito recorded much of the trio’s familiar repertoire, including “Telefone Mudo,” “As Andorinhas” and “Fuscão Preto,” built around close vocal harmonies and accordion. The live project Chalana, Churrasco e Viola documented Trio Parada Dura performing its traditional sertanejo catalog with invited singers, including Marília Mendonça. Their concert repertoire also draws on enduring songs such as “Panela Velha” and “Blusa Vermelha.”
