About Vazelina Bilopphøggers
Vazelina Bilopphøggers were a Norwegian rock band formed in the Toten district in 1979. They played rock and roll and rockabilly with comic lyrics in the local dialect, and became known for songs including “Gi meg fri ikveld” and “Blå lys”.
During the 1980s, the band toured extensively around Norway and built a long-running live career in concert halls and at festivals. Their planned farewell was delayed during the pandemic, and their final concert took place in 2022 at Oslo Spektrum.
