About White Hills
White Hills is an American rock band formed in New York City in 2003, centred on guitarist Dave W and bassist Ego Sensation. The band plays heavy psychedelic and space rock shaped by drone, noise and repetition. Albums including White Hills, H-p1 and So You Are... So You'll Be established its recorded catalogue, while the group appeared as itself performing “Under Skin” in Jim Jarmusch’s film Only Lovers Left Alive.
The band’s 2011 performance at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg was issued as Live at Roadburn 2011. It documents a full-band setup built around guitar and bass; later tours took White Hills through clubs in the United States and Europe, as well as Austin Psych Fest and the Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia.
