Yentl en de Boer in Bloemendaal

Yentl en de Boer is a Dutch musical-cabaret duo formed by Yentl Schieman and Christine de Boer. Their Dutch-language repertoire includes the songs “Ik heb een man gekend” and “Het is begonnen,” both recipients of the Annie M.G. Schmidt Prize. At the 2013 Amsterdams Kleinkunst Festival, the duo won the Wim Sonneveldprijs. They subsequently toured theatres with De snoepwinkel is gesloten, followed by Magie and Lacrimosa. Both performers sing, act and accompany themselves on instruments, a format they also used in De Kampvuursessies and Modderkruipers.
