About Yuri
Yuri is a Mexican singer and television personality, born in Veracruz in 1964. She became known for Latin pop and romantic ballads, including “Maldita primavera,” “Qué te pasa” and “Detrás de mi ventana,” while albums such as Aire and Isla del Sol marked her 1980s repertoire.
Yuri performed at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival during the 1980s and later staged repeated headline concerts at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional. She also toured with the vocal group Pandora in Juntitas, a joint production built around both acts’ catalogues.
