Zeltinger Band is a German rock group formed in Cologne in 1979 around singer Jürgen Zeltinger. Its hard-edged Deutschrock, often sung in the local Kölsch dialect, became known through songs including “Müngersdorfer Stadion,” “Asi mit Niwoh” and “In Köln-Nippes.” The band played its first concert at the Roxy in 1979. Recordings made there and at the Bunker formed the live debut album De Plaat im Roxy & Bunker, documenting the club performances on which Zeltinger Band built its name.
