#1 Dads is an Australian alternative-rock project formed in Melbourne by Tom Iansek in late 2010, alongside his work as vocalist and guitarist in Big Scary. Initially called Dads, the project released Man of Leisure, About Face and Golden Repair. About Face was shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize, and “Nominal” earned an ARIA nomination for Best Male Artist. At Splendour in the Grass in 2015, the #1 Dads set featured guest vocalists, saxophone and a choir.
