Artist
Mantar are a German metal duo formed in Hamburg in 2012 by guitarist and vocalist Hanno Klänhardt and drummer Erinç Sakarya. Their music draws on sludge metal, black metal and punk, and they are known for albums including Death by Burning, Ode to the Flame and The Modern Art of Setting Ablaze. Mantar played Roadburn Festival in Tilburg after the release of Death by Burning, then took their guitar-and-drums setup to festivals including Wacken Open Air and Hellfest in Clisson.
