About 22/7
22/7 is a Japanese idol group and multimedia project formed in 2016 and produced by Yasushi Akimoto. Its members perform as pop idols and voice associated animated characters. The group debuted with “Boku wa Sonzai Shiteinakatta,” while “Muzui” served as the opening theme for the 22/7 anime series.
22/7 held its first live event at AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo in 2017. The group later toured Japan with productions including 22/7 Live Tour 2022 “14,” extending its stage work beyond standalone Tokyo concerts.
The concerts feature the members singing and performing choreography as an idol ensemble; the same performers provide the voices for the project’s characters.
Recurring events in the group’s concert calendar include 22/7 Anniversary Live and Nana Niji Festival.
