3 Inches of Blood is a Canadian heavy metal band formed in Vancouver in 1999. High-register vocals, fast riffs and fantasy-themed lyrics shaped its sound on albums including Advance and Vanquish and Fire Up the Blades; “Deadly Sinners” and “Destroy the Orcs” are among its best-known songs. 3 Inches of Blood played the second stage at Ozzfest in 2007. After ending its original run with farewell concerts in 2015, the band reunited for two performances in 2024 at the Commodore Ballroom.

Unleash The Archers are a Canadian power-metal band formed in Victoria, British Columbia, in 2007. Fronted by vocalist Brittney Slayes, they pair melodic heavy metal with harsh vocals and fast, guitar-led arrangements. The linked concept albums Apex and Abyss are central to their catalogue, while “Awakening,” “Abyss” and their version of Stan Rogers’s “Northwest Passage” are among their best-known recordings. The Abyss touring cycle took the band through North American clubs in 2021 and onward to European stages, including Bloodstock Open Air in 2022. The Phantoma Tour later brought the group to headline rooms across Canada and the United States, followed by a performance at Wacken Open Air.
