Rocko Schamoni is a German musician, writer, actor and comedian, born Tobias Albrecht in Lütjenburg in 1966. After moving to Hamburg, he developed a mix of punk, indie rock and German-language pop. His musical works include the albums Musik für Jugendliche and Galerie Tolerance, while the novel Dorfpunks and the comedy trio Studio Braun brought his work into literature, film and theatre. Rocko Schamoni toured Germany as an opening act for Die Toten Hosen and Die Ärzte early in his solo career. He later took Studio Braun into theatre, where the trio staged Dorfpunks and Fleisch ist mein Gemüse at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus.
