9th Wonder in Manchester

9th Wonder is an American hip-hop producer and DJ from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He became known as a founding member of Little Brother, whose sample-driven albums The Listening and The Minstrel Show established his production style. His credits also include Jay-Z’s “Threat,” Destiny’s Child’s “Girl” and work with Mary J. Blige. During Little Brother’s original run, 9th Wonder performed with Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh as the trio toured behind The Listening and The Minstrel Show. After leaving the group in 2007, he continued appearing under his own name in solo DJ sets and producer showcases built around the catalog he developed with Little Brother, Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige.
