Dave Barnes in Nashville

Dave Barnes is an American singer-songwriter whose music draws on acoustic pop, soul and folk rock. He is best known for “God Gave Me You,” released on the album What We Want, What We Get and later recorded by Blake Shelton; his catalog also includes Brother, Bring the Sun and Me and You and the World. Dave Barnes recorded a live album at WorkPlay Theatre in Birmingham, documenting his songs in concert. He later established an annual Christmas show in Nashville, including performances at Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
