A1 in Cebu City

A1 are a British-Norwegian pop group formed in 1998 by Ben Adams, Mark Read, Christian Ingebrigtsen and Paul Marazzi. They are known for polished boy-band pop and singles including “Be the First to Believe,” “Same Old Brand New You,” “Caught in the Middle” and their version of a-ha’s “Take on Me.” Their first three albums were Here We Come, The A List and Make It Good. A1 reunited as a trio in 2009 and represented Norway at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, performing “Don’t Wanna Lose You Again.” In 2014 they appeared in the second series of The Big Reunion and joined its arena tour, which also featured Blue, 5ive, 911 and Damage.
