Fra Lippo Lippi in Cebu City

Fra Lippo Lippi are a Norwegian new wave band formed in Nesodden in 1978. After early post-punk recordings, the group moved toward melodic synthpop on albums including Songs and Light and Shade. Their best-known songs include “Shouldn’t Have to Be Like That,” “Everytime I See You” and “Beauty and Madness.” Fra Lippo Lippi toured the Philippines in 1988 and subsequently returned to the country several times. Later visits included concerts in Manila and Cebu City.
