Abbie Gardner in Kennett Square

Abbie Gardner is an American singer-songwriter and dobro player whose music draws on folk, blues and country. A founding member of the vocal trio Red Molly, she is also known for her solo albums Wishes on a Neon Sign and DobroSinger, which place her lap-style resonator guitar at the center of the arrangements. In 2004, Abbie Gardner co-founded Red Molly after singing with Laurie MacAllister and Carolann Solebello at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. Years of touring with the trio were followed by solo performances built around her singing, songwriting and dobro playing; her festival history includes appearances at MerleFest and the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion.
