About Abdelkarim
Abdelkarim is a German stand-up comedian, born in Bielefeld in 1981 to a Moroccan family. His comedy draws on German-Moroccan identity, integration, language and politics, and he is also known for appearances on heute-show and Nuhr im Ersten.
Zwischen Ghetto und Germanen took Abdelkarim to cabaret venues and theatres around Germany as an evening-length solo show. He followed it with Staatsfreund Nr. 1 and later toured another solo programme, Wir beruhigen uns.
