About Accept

Accept are a German heavy metal band formed in Solingen in 1976. Their catalog includes the albums Restless and Wild, Balls to the Wall and Metal Heart, as well as songs such as “Fast as a Shark” and “Princess of the Dawn.”

Accept played Monsters of Rock at Donington Park in 1984 while touring behind Balls to the Wall. A reunion lineup featuring Udo Dirkschneider performed at Wacken Open Air in 2005. At the same festival in 2017, their set included an orchestra and selections from guitarist Wolf Hoffmann’s Headbangers Symphony.
