Ace of Base in Houston

Ace of Base is a Swedish pop group formed in Gothenburg in 1990. The group became known for dance-pop shaped by reggae rhythms, particularly “All That She Wants,” “The Sign,” “Don’t Turn Around” and “Beautiful Life.” Its debut album, Happy Nation, was issued in a revised form as The Sign in North America. The Bridge Tour took the quartet on international concert dates after its second album, and in 1996 Ace of Base performed at Chile’s Viña del Mar International Song Festival. The Flowers Tour followed the release of the group’s third album.
