Artist
Acid Arab is a French electronic group formed in 2012 by DJs Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho. They play acid house and techno informed by music from North Africa and the Middle East, working with guest singers and instrumentalists across their albums. Their best-known releases include Musique de France, Jdid and Trois, alongside tracks such as “La Hafla” and “Gul l’Abi.” The project began with Acid Arab parties at the Paris club Chez Moune in 2012. Minisky and Carvalho subsequently developed a five-member concert lineup built around electronic instruments, keyboards and percussion. In 2023, the group marked ten years of Acid Arab with a show at the Olympia.
