Ada Milea in Bucharest

Ada Milea is a Romanian singer-songwriter, actress and composer from Târgu Mureș. Her work pairs folk-rooted acoustic music with spoken characters and absurdist humour; Republica Mioritică România and Quixote are among her best-known recordings. Ada Milea has performed Apolodor as a concert-theatre adaptation of Gellu Naum’s books. She later created Insula from Naum’s play for the Lucian Blaga National Theatre in Cluj-Napoca, while Chirița în concert drew on the writing of Vasile Alecsandri. Concert’n 4 presents her songs through voices, guitars and theatrical dialogue, performed by Ada Milea, Bobo Burlăcianu, Anca Hanu and Cristi Rigman.
