Adam Pascal in Wake Forest

Adam Pascal is an American rock singer and musical-theatre actor, born in the Bronx in 1970. He is best known for originating Roger Davis in Rent, a performance that earned him a Tony Award nomination, and he reprised the role in the film adaptation. He also originated Radames in Aida and released the rock albums Model Prisoner and Civilian. The original Broadway production of Rent opened at the Nederlander Theatre in 1996, where Adam Pascal played Roger throughout its first years. He moved to the Palace Theatre for Aida in 2000 and later played the Emcee in Cabaret at Studio 54. He returned to Roger opposite Anthony Rapp on Broadway in 2007, and the pair later led a national tour of Rent in 2009.
