Vandenberg is a Dutch hard-rock band formed in Amsterdam in 1981 by guitarist Adrian Vandenberg. The group became known for melodic, guitar-led songs including “Burning Heart,” “Friday Night” and “Different Worlds,” and for the albums Vandenberg, Heading for a Storm and Alibi. In 1983, Vandenberg toured the United States as support for Ozzy Osbourne, then joined Kiss for European dates on the Lick It Up Tour. Concerts in Japan followed during the original 1980s run and were documented on the release Live in Japan.
